Owner/Director of Training/Coach Anthony Shefferly has been CrossFitting for 10 years and specializes in movement, mechanics and competition. He started CrossFit training in 2007 to improve his strength and conditioning as a police officer. People started asking him to train them, too, so he got his Level 1 and started coaching. "In 2013, I opened CrossFit Tactical Strength as a means to train police officers as well as civilians," he says.
Anthony played football and ran track at University of St. Francis, and he won the Top Fit award at Fort Wayne Police Academy 57th Recruit Class. He finished 16th in the CrossFit Games Regionals in 2012.
When he’s not in the gym, you can find Anthony raising three kids, working as a police officer, and "trying to sleep once in a while," he says.
